Privacy Policy

Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information when you use our website from Canada or elsewhere.

Last updated:

Scope and Canadian law

We are committed to handling personal information in line with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), where it applies, and with British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA), where it applies to our operations in that province. If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) may also apply; Section 6 describes GDPR-specific rights.

This policy satisfies our accountability and openness obligations: we identify the purposes for collection, the types of information involved, how to withdraw consent where consent is required, and how to access personal information or raise concerns.

1. Data Controller

The organization responsible for your personal information is:

  • Company: Praxylonquaktorx
  • Address: Cockell Rd, Bull River, BC V0B 1N0, Canada
  • Email: office@praxylonquaktorx.world
  • Phone: +1 250 429 3929
  • Website: https://praxylonquaktorx.world

2. Information We Collect

We may collect the following types of personal data:

2.1 Information You Provide

  • Name, email address, and message content when you use our contact form
  • Consent preferences for data processing and cookies

2.2 Automatically Collected Information

  • IP address (anonymized where possible)
  • Browser type and version
  • Operating system
  • Pages visited, time of access, and referring URLs
  • Cookie data (subject to your cookie preferences)

3. Purposes of collection and use

We collect and use personal information only for purposes that a reasonable person would consider appropriate in the circumstances, and we limit collection to what is necessary for those purposes:

  • Communication: To respond to your inquiries submitted through the contact form
  • Website functionality and security: To operate the site, protect against abuse, and maintain technical integrity
  • Analytics: To understand aggregated usage patterns and improve content, only where you have consented to non-essential analytics (see our Cookie Policy)
  • Legal compliance: To meet record-keeping or other obligations where required by law

4. Consent, withdrawal, and commercial electronic messages (CASL)

Where Canadian law requires consent, we obtain it in a meaningful way—for example, through the contact form checkbox and through our cookie banner for non-essential cookies. You may withdraw consent at any time, subject to legal or contractual restrictions and reasonable notice. Withdrawing consent may limit our ability to respond to you or to provide certain features (for example, optional analytics).

Under Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL), we do not send commercial electronic messages (such as marketing newsletters) based solely on your contact form submission unless you have given separate express consent for that specific purpose. We use your email address from the contact form only to reply to your inquiry and related follow-up, which is generally exempt from CASL as a response to your request.

5. Legal basis for processing (including GDPR)

For individuals in the EEA, we process personal data based on the following legal grounds under the GDPR:

  • Consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR): When you provide explicit consent, such as for the contact form or optional cookies
  • Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR): For website security, fraud prevention, and essential functionality, balanced against your rights
  • Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR): When processing is required to comply with applicable laws

6. Data retention

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy:

  • Contact form submissions: Retained for up to 12 months after the last communication, then deleted
  • Cookie consent preferences: Stored in your browser's local storage for up to 12 months
  • Server logs: Automatically deleted after 90 days
  • Analytics data: If we deploy analytics with your consent, we will retain it only in line with what we disclose at that time (typically in aggregated or pseudonymized form and for no longer than reasonably needed to improve the site)

7. Your rights in Canada (PIPEDA / BC PIPA)

Subject to exceptions set out in applicable law, you generally have the right to:

  • Access: Ask whether we hold personal information about you and obtain an account of how it has been and is being used, including third-party disclosures
  • Accuracy: Request correction of personal information that is inaccurate or incomplete
  • Challenge compliance: Address any concern about our compliance with fair information practices to us; if unresolved, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (OPC) or the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia (OIPC BC), as applicable

We will respond to access and correction requests within a reasonable time and, where feasible, within 30 days of receiving a verifiable request, unless applicable law permits an extension. We may require limited information to confirm your identity before releasing sensitive records.

8. Your rights under the GDPR (EEA residents)

If the GDPR applies to you, you may have the following additional rights:

  • Right of access (Art. 15): Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Right to rectification (Art. 16): Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Right to erasure (Art. 17): Request deletion of your personal data in certain circumstances
  • Right to restriction (Art. 18): Request restriction of processing under certain conditions
  • Right to data portability (Art. 20): Receive your data in a structured, commonly used format where technically feasible
  • Right to object (Art. 21): Object to processing based on legitimate interests
  • Right to withdraw consent: Withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent

To exercise GDPR rights, contact us using the details in Section 15. We will respond within the timeframes required by the GDPR (typically 30 days, with possible extensions as permitted by law).

9. Data security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data, including:

  • HTTPS encryption for all data transmitted between your browser and our servers
  • Access controls limiting data access to authorized personnel only
  • Regular security reviews and updates of our systems
  • Secure storage solutions for any collected data

10. Third-party services

We use the following services that may process technical or personal information when you load our pages. Their practices are governed by their own policies:

  • Google Fonts: Font delivery (your browser may connect to Google servers; IP address and related technical data may be processed). See https://policies.google.com/privacy
  • Font Awesome (CDN, Cloudflare): Icon delivery. See https://fontawesome.com/privacy and Cloudflare's privacy documentation

We select providers with reputable privacy programs and limit data shared to what is needed to display the site. Where we engage a service provider with access to personal information we control, we use contractual or other means to provide a comparable level of protection while the information is being processed by them, as required by PIPEDA.

11. Cross-border processing

Information may be processed or stored in Canada and, due to the use of global CDNs and font services, may be accessed from or routed through other countries. When personal information is transferred across borders, we take steps that are reasonable in the circumstances to ensure it remains protected, consistent with PIPEDA's accountability principle. If your personal data is transferred from the EEA to countries not recognized as adequate by the European Commission, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses where required by the GDPR.

12. Children's privacy

This website is intended for a general adult audience and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe we have collected information from a child, please contact us and we will take steps to delete that information promptly.

13. Complaints

We encourage you to contact us first so we can try to resolve your concern. You may also file a complaint with:

  • Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (OPC): https://www.priv.gc.ca
  • Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia (OIPC BC): https://www.oipc.bc.ca

If you are in the EEA, you may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority in your member state.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any material changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Where required by law and practicable, we will provide additional notice. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
